Extended night hours announced for holy month visitors
DUBAI – A major Ramadan promotion has been announced for families planning evening outings, with Global Village introducing a limited-time entry bundle that significantly reduces ticket costs.
The destination is offering four entry tickets for Dh30, effectively giving visitors three tickets free under the special package. The move comes as the attraction marks its 30th season and aligns with the UAE’s Year of Family initiative.
The seasonal offer is designed to encourage group visits for iftar, suhoor and late-night outings, as footfall traditionally rises during the holy month. Known as one of the UAE’s most visited family destinations, the multicultural park combines shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural showcases in one venue.
Ramadan deal
Under the Ramadan promotion, guests can purchase a four-ticket bundle for Dh30 at ticket counters inside the destination. Additional tickets can be added to the bundle for Dh7.5 each. The offer is valid for a limited period and is not available online, according to the announcement.

Organisers said the bundle is structured to make visits more accessible for larger families and groups of friends who typically plan shared outings during Ramadan evenings. The package can be used for entry on the same day and supports group gatherings centred around meals and entertainment.
The promotion runs during the holy month only and is tied to the destination’s ongoing Season 30 programming calendar.
Timings update
Opening hours have also been extended for Ramadan. The destination will welcome visitors from 5pm to 1am from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 5pm to 2am from Thursday to Saturday. The later closing times are intended to accommodate post-iftar and late-night visits.
Ramadan in the UAE is expected to begin on either Wednesday or Thursday, subject to crescent moon sighting confirmation. The official start date is determined after observation by the national moon sighting committee, which reviews field reports after Maghrib prayers.
Across the country, Ramadan schedules typically bring adjusted working hours for government entities, private sector offices and schools, reflecting fasting routines and evening activity patterns.
Global Village Season 30
The current season programme features 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, alongside over 3,500 shopping outlets and more than 250 dining options. Live entertainment remains a core attraction, with around 450 performers delivering more than 40,000 shows across the season schedule.
Carnaval, the destination’s ride and games zone, includes more than 200 attractions ranging from family rides to arcade-style games. Food kiosks and themed restaurants operate across multiple zones, with menus tailored to diverse international tastes, which typically see higher demand during Ramadan nights.
Since opening in 1997, the destination has recorded more than 100 million visits overall. Season 29 alone drew a record 10.5 million guests, setting a new attendance benchmark ahead of the current anniversary season programming.
